| Marbella Fishing Port Restaurants include the well known Los Cañizos, La Relojera, El Varadero and Puerto Playa restaurants. Parking is easy, eat early if you want to avoid the crowds, that means around 7.30pm. You will probably be the only diners in the restaurant and they will still be setting out the tables but the service will be fast. Leave your meal until 11pm in summer which is when most self respecting Spaniards go out to dine and you will need to be patient.
The fishing port is one of the best places to eat fresh fish dishes on the Costa del Sol. It's at the east entrance of Marbella, right in front of the big "Blue Glass" building, Marina Marbella. Turn right coming out of Marbella at the Titanic roundabout. Not that well known - it is, however, an authentic dining experience with delicious fresh fish. Daytime eating makes sense, a very short walk from the beach or at night outside under the stars with the moon on the sea makes it rather fun and special! All of the restaurants do "Sardinas al Espeto", sardines grilled over an open fire and we recommend finding out the what the special of the day is. Enjoy! |
