The Malaga Airport train station is one of the most used stops on the line between Malaga train station and Fuengirola. The timetable for trains between Malaga and Fuengirola stations shows departures in both directions from all stops in opposite directions every 20 minutes.
Travellers on the train to Malaga airport arrive in the super new underground train station right next to the the main T3 airport building.
The track runs overground all the way from Fuengirola train station until it makes its approach to the Malaga airport train station.
The airport train station is less than 100metres from the exit door of the ground level arrivals hall. Walk out of the arrivals door and the train station is right in front of you.
Some of the intermediate train stops like the Los Boliches train in Fuengirola have been adapted for use by wheelchair users and can be accessed easily and there is a lift to the platform at the airport. |
