Enjoy the Marbella Feria!

The Marbella feria has moved from the centre of Marbella to the valley running north and south of the bonsai museum just below the Marbella Police Station, the Comisaria de Marbella. It's on until 8pm every night of the second week of June. Marbella's Saints Day, Día de los Santos is June the 11th every year and is a holiday. It's a great day to be in Marbella if you can get a cheap flight down to the coast.
Most Spanish girls have got a flamenco dress stored away for feria time and they are very pleased to pose for photos!
Showing off the lovely flamenco dresses
These girls are being watched by their proud mums standing just next to the stage. They are all members of a dancing school and the local dance academies provide almost non stop dancing shows during the week of the Marbella feria.

Some of the mums I mentioned above are also happy to be captured on camera.
Proud mums after watching their daughters dancing
It's hot, the music is pounding, every stall has different feria music on the go and you can see the determined expressions on the faces of the new arrivals as they head for the nearest bar (which is never more than about 15 metres away). Come on down next year!
A lovely group of visitors and really getting into the feria spirit!
íViva la feria!

The Marbella feria is a great time to be in here. When you get to the feria, get yourself a drink right away and get into the swing of things and have something to eat. It's totally safe, keep your money tucked up your skirt and have a good time. See you here next year!
