Taxis from the Hospital Costa del Sol
There are three taxi ranks outside the hospital Costa del Sol. . One is outside Urgencias on the mountains side of the hospital, another is front of the main entrance where visitors go in to the wards and the third taxi rank is in front of the outpatients entrance, nearest to the main road. | If you are catching a taxi in the Marbella area, look out for the official Taxi Sol logo. Every taxi driver carries a booklet with 2008 taxi fares for all destinations on the Costa del Sol. If you don't agree with the price quoted, ask for an official written bill "factura" from the driver.

From Malaga airport to Nerja: take the Malaga airport train to Malaga train station or L19 bus which stops in Malaga airport every 30 minutes into Malaga city, the bus station in Malaga is right next to Malaga train station , then take a local bus from Malaga Bus Station to Nerja

| To get into to Málaga city a taxi journey will be about approximately 10 mins and cost 10 to 15 €. You can also take a train from Malaga airport very close to the airport right into the centre of Málaga. (Every 30 minutes from 7am to 11.45pm,). |
| The next major resort down the coast is Torremolinos. The train runs from the airport along the coast and stops all the way along, 30 minutes for Torremolinos and 45 mins for Fuengirola. A taxi from Malaga airport to Torremolinos is the quickest option from the airportas it will take you directly to your destination and save you catching another taxi at the train stop. |
Benalmadena Costa is beween Torremolinos and Fuengirola and again I suggest a taxi direct from the airport, or take a train to Benalmadena - Arroyo de
la Miel which is in the hills behind the main coastal resort, if your destination is near the train stop. The station is a little way from the village so a taxi could be easier if you are pulling a lot of cases. |
The next resort is Fuengirola. You can train all the way from Malaga airport to Fuengirola train station and from there pick up a bus from the Fuengirola bus station or a taxi from the rank outside the Fuengirola train station.

| Marbella and Puerto Banus are beyond Fuengirola towards Gibraltar westwards and you can take a taxi direct from Malaga airport which will take approximately 50 mins. See the taxi fare from Malaga airport to the Marbella above. Check that toll road charges are included in these prices because the fares quoted above are from Taxisol Marbella and the taxi you will pick up at the airport will belong to a Malaga taxi company. Don't forget the option of the Malaga airport bus connecting with Marbella bus station and then taking a taxi from there, it will save you a lot of money. |
