Taxi Fares from Málaga Airport to Points East and West along the Coast

There are always plenty of taxis available from the airport but if you would like a personalised pick up from the airport or from your holiday residence back to the airport contact English speaking Franciso and he will take care of your needs.
If you would like to make your own arrangements once you are down here on the coast, use these numbers to phone your local radio taxi rank. Torremolinos 952 38 27 44, Benalmádena 952 44 15 45, Mijas 952 47 65 93, Fuengirola 952 47 10 00, Marbella 952 82 35 35
Heading eastwards towards Nerja: take the airport train to Malaga which is about 1 €, the bus station is right next to the train station , then take a local bus to Nerja, about 4 €. A taxi direct will take approximately 45 mins and cost around 60 €
To get into to Málaga city a taxi journey will be about approximately 10 mins and cost 10 to 15 €. You can also take a train from very close to the airport right into the centre of Málaga. (every 30 minutes from 7am to 11.45pm, 1 Euro).
The next two major stops down the coast are Torremolinos and Fuengirola: The train runs from the airport along the coast and stops in both these resorts, 30 mins and 2 € approx. for Torremolinos and 45 mins and 4 € approx. for Fuengirola. A taxi will cost about 15 € to Torremolinos and 30 € to Fuengirola.
Benalmadena Costa is beween Torremolinos and Fuengirola and we suggest a taxi direct from the airport about 15 to 20 € or take a train to Benalmadena - Arroyo de la Miel which is in the hills behind the main coastal resort. The station is a little way from the village so a taxi could be easier if you are pulling a lot of cases.
Marbella and Puerto Banus are beyond Fuengirola towards Gibraltar westwards and a taxi direct from the airport will take approximately 50 mins and cost around 50 €. Toll road charges are included in these prices.
