This is the tunnel in Malaga airport where the rental car and off-site long term car parking companies pick up their incoming clients.   To meet your courtesy shuttle bus, after you walk into the Arrivals hall,  turn right out of the airpot  building and then turn  right again.  if you have to phone for your shuttle company then this is the best moment to do it. Otherwise you could phone and then find yourself inside the airport still waiting for your luggage.

You’ll see a long row of taxis waiting to your left. Keep walking along the pavement. It’ll be noisy with suitcases and trolleys rattling everywhere. You’ll walk past the dark tinted luxury VIP transfer vehicles and then almost at the end of the tunnel you’ll see the Shuttle-Bus and Courtesy bus stop.

Keep a sharp look out for your courtesy shuttle bus and when you see the van with the name of your car hire company or the mini bus for your long term parking wave to your driver. In minutes your cases will be in the back of the the shuttle bus and you’ll be off to collect your car.

Believe it or not I took this picture at 20 past midnight early in July a few days ago. The airport was heaving. By the way I always use Parking Sur for my long term parking.

  1. Hi John, thank you very much for checking in. Yes, from Marbella Bus Station you’ll be catching the L79 Marbella to Estepona bus. I’ll copy in a post which I did about the bus stops between Marbella and Estepona and the nearest bus stop to Costalita Gold Cancelada is the Flamingos Bus Stop. When you get off the bus at Los Flamingos John, check in the bus stop shelter for a list of the times for that stop. It’s going to be orientative because a lot depends on the traffic and time of day but there should be at least one every hour if not every 30 minutes so you’ll be able to get up and down the coast very easily. I hope this helps. Have a great stay and please let me know how I can help in any way. Best wishes Mike
