Spain is a most exciting country to travel in. It shares common borders with France,  Andorra, Portugal and Morrocco – think Ceuta and Melilla in North Africa.  The road infrastructure is excellent thanks to Spain’s entry into the European Union. It’s faster and cheaper to travel between major cities on the AVE, Spain’s high speed train than by air. Buses will reach the remotest villages and offer almost hourly services to intermediate destinations between towns. Ferries connect the Balearic Isles in the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands in the Atlantic with the mainland.  My wife Angela and I have been travelling and exploring Spain for as long as we’ve lived here. Got a question? We’ll do our best to answer it.
