Travelling to or from the airport? Book your rental car on the Gomarbella care hire booking engine. Make use of my personal recommendations for car hire at Malaga Airport With over 25 car hire companies offering car hire services at Malaga airport, it pays to shop around and get the hire car which best suits your needs and pocket.
Let the train take the strain. Malaga airport train station is an easy suitcase trundle, less than a hundred metres from the Arrivals Hall exit door. The C1 train line runs right past the airport which is one of the last train stops on the line from Fuengirola train station right into the heart of the capital at the Maria Zambrano train station.
Taking a taxi? There are normally around 200 spotless taxis waiting at the airport with the taxi pick up point not more than fifty metres from the Arrivals Hall exit door. Every car now has a meter and the driver also carries an official booklet stating exactly what the fare will be to your destination. If you are travelling beyond Fuengirola ask the driver to take the toll road as far as Marbella, it is much safer and faster and will only add around 8 euros to the fare in summer.
Perhaps an airport transfer is what suits you or your group best. Book your expert, high class personalised door to door transfer service or courtesy shuttle bus here.
Pick up and drop off at the airport by car? There’s a very neat kiss and fly drop off and collection zone at the airport. Cars are allowed 15 minutes free access to drop passengers off or pick them up. After that costs start to mount up. Get insider information tips and tricks on how and where to meet your holiday guests with the minimum of fuss.
I’ve been using Malaga airport for 40 years and for as long as I can remember have been using Parking Sur for my long stay parking, anything from a weekend away up to a month’s stay.
