Parking Sur came out ahead when back in September I wanted to leave our car for a month at Malaga airport whilst we were away in Australia. I phoned around to compare prices and was quoted €190 for a month’s covered parking. The best quote was down to €90 for open air parking with our old friends at Parking Sur.

What I like about Parking Sur is there is absolutely no fuss or wait. We’ve been using them for long than I can remember. It’s easy to find, you arrive, they look out and take your car registration number. They already have your name, contact telephone number,  your return date and time on your booking form.  The driver puts your bags into the shuttle van and less than ten minutes later  you are being dropped off at Malaga Airport Departures. I recommend that you book in advance on their website to tell them when you want to leave your car especially during public holidays and the summer.

You can book covered parking or parking in the open. Parking Sur also have a service where you can drop off your car at the airport for maximum convenience and collect it there as well on your return.

On a good day we can leave home in Marbella, leave the car at Parking Sur, be taken to the airport, clear security and be having a coffee in our favourite place to eat in the airport in just under sixty minutes.

In the picture above you will see the Malaga to Fuengirola train swinging west just after climbing out from Malaga airport’s underground train station, Parking Sur is that close to the airport.

When we got back from Australia, the car was parked ready waiting for us, cleaned and ready to take us on the last leg home. Oh, yes, when it came to pay, the Parking Sur fellow recognised me and gave me a extra special price because my first blog about Parking Sur at Malaga airport had brought them in other short and long term clients so if you are one of them, thank you very much for that.    For more tips and suggestions about travel in Spain use the search box over on the Gomarbella Blogs pages.
