Marbella bus station is up at the back of the town just off the A7 coastal highway. A taxi down to any of the hotels or hostels in Marbella town centre is a minimum fare. If you are not pulling a suitcase it’s an easy walk straight down to the beach. There’s a taxi rank right in front of the bus station. There are left luggage compartments although they may be full at peak travel periods.

The inter-urban buses coastal buses for example from Fuengirola to Marbella will travel along the coastal road stopping at all the bus stops and then travel through the centre of the town where you can get off at the Farmacia Berdaguer stop and then curve back up to Marbella bus station. Take a leisurely bus trip and join the holiday makers and workers getting on and off at all the bus stops between Marbella and Fuengirola.
Travelling from Estepona to Marbella again the bus travels right through the centre of the town where you can get off at the Marbel Center stop before curving back up to the bus station. A great day’s outing to Ronda? Sit on the left off the bus as you go up to enjoy the scenic views and if you don’t do heights, sit on the right and read a magazine.
Marbella bus station to Sevilla via Ronda is my favourite bus trip.
Here’s a tip if you are buying your ticket from the Taquilla (ticket office). Get to the bus station a good 15 minutes before you travel at a peak time because there is often a queue.
